Vijana na AgriBiz Competition

The Vijana na AgriBiz Competition, under the AgriBiz Programme, is an initiative by the Kenya Climate Innovation Center (KCIC) to identify and support high-growth, youth-led agribusiness innovations. The competition promotes climate-resilient agriculture while empowering young entrepreneurs and women to transform their ideas into commercially viable and sustainable enterprises.

It is designed to foster resilient and sustainable climate adaptation strategies in agriculture, unlock economic opportunities for youth and women-led enterprises, and strengthen Kenya’s agribusiness ecosystem by supporting scalable, innovative ventures. To encourage participation and growth, the competition offers a comprehensive package of support and incentives. The top 20 winners are enrolled in the AgriBiz Programme, gaining access to conditional grants, intensive bootcamps, investor readiness sessions, and a one-year incubation program. Additionally, the top three winners receive cash prizes, providing them with the financial backing needed to scale their innovations.
